Moving! (possibly)

I have been thinking about moving a lot more recently. I had been pretty much set for looking for a place on my own in a new (more afordable) area of San Diego. I have been searching with no success for some time now. My apartment is way too expensive for me now and to be honest, I'm just ready for a change.

I was speaking with some co-workers about my situation and to Dani who all suggested I look for a roommate. Which, I had adamently refused for two years. But I really need to start saving some money on rent. My student loan payments are going to start up in a few months (October or November I think) and I am going to need money to pay them! And I figure if I could save two or three hundred dollars a month a rent, that would REALLY HELP! So, I searched a few roommate website with no success. Really...nothing good. Mostly students.

But, as sketchy as it seems, Dani found a really great roommate on craigslist. No really, I met her today and she seems really cool. So I began searching. I've been in email communication with a girl who is moving back to SD (she did her undergrad at UCSD) for grad school and we seem to get along and be looking for similar things in an apartment. I've compiled a list of five places I want to see in the next week. So hopefully things will really come together.

I think I can manage sharing a place with someone, as long as I have my own bedroom and bathroom. Which all five of these places I would!

On a side note, Dani and I went to the Farmer's Market today. It was a BLAST! OMG seriously so much great stuff! I bought some strawberries and some grapefruits and Dani and I bought some corn on the cob to grill on Wednesday. Yum!
