I hate the sun. Even with sunscreen I seem to always get burned! Today I was only in the sun for about an hour, with sunscreen on and my shoulders are burnt. I just don't understand.
Today was good. Jennifer and Steve are down visiting and we went to Padre's game. It was a great game, very entertaining. And the Padre's won! After the game we wandered downtown for a while, which seemed to make me even more tired. I'm now sitting at home watching tv while MJ sleeps on my couch. We came back thinking that the rest of the group would be home shortly and we could play some games. But now, I have no idea when they will be back. I expected them almost an hour ago.
Meh- no big deal. I actually cleaned my apartment a little in the last few days. I actually used my carpet cleaner to get out a few stains in the carpet in my bathroom/bedroom area. I have decided that in the next week I can going to work on going through all of the boxes in my closet. I really need to go through my things and decide how to pack. I also have finally decided that I am going to put in my thirty days notice on Monday after work. I should be in a new place by August 10th. Hopefully it all goes well!
I would also like to say how upset I am that Rodeo is moving out of San Diego! I don't get to see her very often, but it has been so great knowing that she is here and always willing to help me and listen. I know that she has been struggling recently and that moving to Texas is a great new opportunity for her, but I'm very upset about it. So, in the next few weeks we have planned a variety of fun and exciting activities to celebrate SD and see her off!

For real on hating the sun--me too!!!
I'm jealous of all the stuff you're doing. I like baseball! I like Avenue Q! I like friends and the Lamplighter and drinking! WHY NOT ME?!?! I WANT THE VENOM!!!!
Wow. Boredom breeds some really terrific insanity.
I'm also sad that Rodeo is leaving the state of CA. :(
