I'm not so great...

at posting on my blog. Aarg.

So I'm chatting with Scott right now and after all of the normal formalities of the conversation and short chat about architecture schools and online shoe shopping, he reminded me that I was being "yelled at" for not posting on the Mother California blog. And that reminded me that I don't post on my own blog!

And to think that I didn't do anything productive today. I watched two movies, cleaned up the kitchen a little (barely) and generally sat on my butt and perused the internet (I switched up my myspace layout and changed my default picture). You know, typical Saturday activities.

And now I'm sitting at home updating my blog at 10:30 on a Saturday night. Wow, do I have a life or what?!?

No but really, I do!! I've been busy lately.

Last weekend I went out with friends on Friday night, Saturday night, and to the fair last Sunday. I had a great time at the fair, pig races, turkey stampede, fun carnival rides, and of course....livestock (which when I mentioned to Scott we had a conversation about how much fun sheering sheep would be)!! I burnt the hell out of my back though and now I'm peeling. HOTT.

Then on Tuesday we went to the Lamplighter for a friend's bday. It was pretty dead so I got to sing three (as in pi) times! First we sang Wannabe by the Spice Girls (which...btw I'm so pumped for the SG reunion tour it isn't even funny- I totally want to see how much tickets are going to be and where they are performing and go...anyone wanna join?), then Rodeo and I did Strong by Britney Spears (and we were great- and with hair and not crazy), and finally JP and I did an amazing rendition of Heartbreak by Pat Benatar (to which she said "Pat would be proud"). It was a night!

Other than that I've just been enjoying myself- watching movies (I've watched Monty Python and the Holy Grail 3 times this week!), reading up on Harry Potter (I'm going to a book group on Thursday's at lunch to discuss HP- love it), and browsing the internet for fun things to do in
SD. Tomorrow I'm going to the farmer's market with the Riehl Deal. I'm pumped.
